Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented in-office Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and proactive HR professional with a strong understanding of HR best practices and a passion for supporting employees. This role will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, PEO oversight, compensation agreement administration and expense and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Partner with company leadership to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
    • Source and screen candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, employee referrals).
    • Conduct initial phone screens and schedule interviews.
    • Prepare offer letters
    • Manage the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary forms are completed and new hires are successfully integrated into the team.
    • Oversee TriNet PEO services and activities.
  • Training & Development:
    • Coordinate training and development programs to ensure regulatory compliance and to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Maintain training records and track employee development.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits through TriNet PEO platform.
    • Ensure accurate processing of employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
    • Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment.
  • HR Operations:
    • Oversee payroll bonuses and submissions.
    • Manage payroll reporting function.
    • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
    • Administer loan officer compensation agreements. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a related role.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with TriNet or similar PEO platform.
  • Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus.
