Sales Representative

We are looking for an individual who thrives in building relationships, has a proven track record in exceeding goals, and is motivated to learn and grow with the company in the position of a Sales Representative. The right candidate will have strong customer relations skills and experience in negotiating and closing deals. The sales position is a combination of inside/outside sales. The Sales Representative is self-motivated and excels at maintaining existing long-term client relationships and building new client business.

Compensation
  • $80k-$125k base pay and commissions
  • Eligible for raises/bonuses based on performance

Schedule
  • Monday- Friday 8:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. (general office hours) Flexibility required to meet client needs
  • In office and fieldwork. Two days a week in the office, three days a week in the field. (i.e. customer visits and Installation Shop visits)
  • Travel is required, including driving long distances and potentially flying to different regions.

Responsibilities
Inside Sales:
    • Convert inbound sales inquiries into new business opportunities
    • Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction
    • Provide detailed product information and support to customers
    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
    • Follow up on leads generated through marketing efforts
    • Create and review vehicle build specifications with customers
    • Manage the complete sale process from initial customer contact to final vehicle delivery
    • Understand the various contracts and pricing structures
    • Establish relationships with ECEL manufacturers
Outside Sales:
  • Identify and establish contact with potential customers through field visits
  • Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and presentations
  • Grow and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to identify potential sales leads
  • Monitor industry trends to identify new sales opportunities
  • Recommend and implement marketing strategies to target specific regions or demographics
  • Generate and submit sales reports to management
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in vehicle upfitting or the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Flexibility to travel for outside sales activities
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive company or personal vehicles for client visits and sales activities
  • Comply with all driving regulations and safety standards
Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Possess productive and positive performance skills resulting in new and continued sales
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry sales materials, product samples, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Transporting promotional materials and setting up displays at trade shows and events
  • Ability to move freely and efficiently between office settings and client locations
  • Extended periods of standing and walking during client visits, trade shows, and product demonstrations
  • Ability to handle and operate sales tools, such as laptops, tablets, and presentation equipment.
  • Setting up and adjusting displays and demonstration units
  • Good visual acuity to read product specifications, sales materials, and customer information
  • Ability to hear and communicate effectively with clients in various environments, including noisy trade shows
