Local Sales Representative– Hampton Roads, VA
East Coast Truck & Trailer Sales, Inc., the leading supplier of auto transport, is seeking a dynamic and driven Local Sales Representative to join our team! This role will cover the entire Hampton Roads region, including Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Poquoson. We are a premier manufacturer and supplier of Commercial Trucks (towing, waste refuse, etc.) and Auto Transport, while also offering premium parts, a state-of-the-art service center, and our very own Sign & Design shop. Position Overview: The ideal Local Sales Representative will be an energetic and motivated business development professional. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients across all of Hampton Roads. You will actively promote and sell all aspects of East Coast Truck & Trailer Sales, including:
- Comprehensive truck and trailer solutions
- Commercial truck repair services
- Parts, soft goods, and safety apparel
- Custom-manufactured straps, chains, and cables
- Custom signage and branding solutions
Strong account management and exceptional customer service will be key to your success.

Position Requirements:
- Proven sales experience
- Experience in commercial trucking or car hauling is preferred but not required
- Ability to identify and develop customer inquiries and close new business
- Effective pipeline management to meet or exceed sales goals
- Strong communication skills and a competitive drive
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
- Regional travel required to service the Hampton Roads territory
Key Skills:
- Highly competitive, personable, and receptive to feedback
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram
- Strong ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Compensation: Base Salary plus commission
