Position Overview: We are currently seeking several Sales Representatives to support our growing customer base. Candidate will be responsible for promoting, selling, and writing specifications for a comprehensive line of industrial trucking equipment, including Jerr-dan Wreckers, Cottrell Tractor Trailers, Galfab hoists , Hiab Multilift hooklifts with opportunities to sell from inbound phone leads or in person across a designated territory within the Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina region. We are looking for a salesperson with 2 years experience in sales that knows commercial trucks. We'll teach you specifics on the bodies. Experience selling to municipalities is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sales, excellent customer service skills, and a strategic approach to territory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers within the assigned territory.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
- Provide customers with product details and technical expertise.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and other events to promote the company’s products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
- Preferred 2 years of sales experience in the trucking.
- A strong understanding of hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
- Class B or above Commercial Driver's License is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Karmak Inventory program.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- We are a drug free workplace and require a test prior to hire. Even THC is not acceptable.
