This job requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, carefully thought-out results. Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessary. The job centers around developing new ideas, systems (in collaboration with data engineers), and analyzing and improving on old ones. A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to spot and correct errors is important.
Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Product Management
- Oversee the high quality, timely delivery, and evolution of an existing product for an entire product line, including overseeing the quality and timeliness of responding to client engagement.
a) Lead and facilitate discussions on East Daley’s supply outlook for Crude Oil, especially in liquids-focused basins like the Permian, Bakken, DJ, Powder River, and Eagle Ford.
b) Provide monthly supply summaries connecting commodity trends using insights from product teams and data tools.
c) Compare historical and forecasted supply data to EIA benchmarks monthly.
d) Use state-level benchmarks to ensure accuracy of historical crude data.
e) Track and report deviations between East Daley forecasts and external benchmarks.
f) Incorporate state-reported plant data to enhance East Daley’s forecasting models.
g) Optimize processes for integrating plant data in production forecasts.
2. Product Development
- Coordinate & execute efforts across the Sales, Marketing, and Data teams to ensure the new Product meets the needs of the Market and is impactful across Sales, Marketing, Data & Visualization efforts.
3. Marketing (Content, Presentations, Media Interactions)
- Creates quarterly crude and liquids-focused market updates for use in engaging current clients and marketing to prospects.
- Responsible for publishing weekly content in the Crude Oil Edge that engages clients and prospects with market events and themes.
- Leads media engagement that represents East Daley’s voice on topical market matters.
4. Sales
- Capable of leading client and prospect calls with the Crude Oil Team, providing analytical insights related to crude oil supply through infrastructure to demand markets.
5. Data
- Maintain QA at the Product level and think innovatively about how to best deliver the Crude Oil data & analytics to the market effectively and efficiently.
6. Consulting
- Proactive in managing the communication and delivery of the consulting project, including coaching the Apprentice and Professional on projects. Includes the ability to clearly articulate the key takeaways in addition to coaching the team on delivery execution.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is required; experience with SQL is a plus.
- Prior energy experience is advantageous, as is a strong desire to learn and grow is more important.
- Demonstrated ability to work long hours initially as you learn the ropes, showcasing tenacity and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Experience in managing and leading a team.

Salary range is $100,000 - $150,000 plus bonus opportunities depending on experience.
