Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with infants and young children, and possess a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and personalized care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development, including educational games and creative play.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, feeding, bathing, dressing, and diaper changing for infants.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for children, including tidying up play areas and ensuring toys are safe and sanitized.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Support children's emotional needs by providing comfort, encouragement, and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with other caregivers or educators to create a cohesive approach to child development and learning.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or childcare settings is preferred.
- At least 6 months of previous experience as a primary caregiver.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
- Experience working with infants or young children through roles such as babysitting, nannying, or preschool teaching is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of each child while maintaining a structured routine.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential qualities for this role.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
