East End Disability Associates Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). EEDA is hiring a full-time Associate Director who will support the Executive Director in the oversight and administration of EEDA. This includes ensuring safety, quality, programmatic growth and all aspects of service delivery and well as futures planning and monitoring progress. The Associate Executive Director will also work to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
Shift: Full-time, Monday-Friday. Requires flexibility based on needs of the organization.
Salary: $150,000-$200,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In alignment with EEDA’s Mission, Vision and Values, all applicable laws and regulations the Associate Executive Directors shall:
- Supports essential functions and acts as liaison between programs and Executive Director.
- As an integral part of a cross functional team, assist in ensuring that all programs and supports operate in compliance with agency policies, procedures and expectation while meeting regulatory/licensing compliance obligations from OPWDD, Medicaid or other regulatory body.
- Review and analyze the program expenditures against budgets to ensure alignment including but not limited to billing processes, maximization of units, FTE’s and overtime analysis.
- As an integral part of a cross functional team, assist in the evaluating the effectiveness of person centered supports and services provided by EEDA, make recommendations and take action to improve the quality and efficiency of all supports and develop new supports to achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.
- Partner closely with the QA Management and Compliance Officer for internal and external audits, investigations, incident management and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies while supporting the concepts of person-centered services and solutions.
- Regularly review systems and maintain an agency wide agenda/perspective to ensure that all programs operate with the same systems, leadership values and commitment to excellence.
- Keep abreast of all industry trends and best practices, pertinent federal, state regulations and laws and EEDA policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Continuously update and enhance job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
- Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different assignments and projects, actively explore new opportunities to add value and enhance organization reputation.
- Analyze complex employee relation issues and sensitive situations and accurately and rapidly adopt an effective course of action.
- Manage multiple complex projects, rapidly shifting priorities with short timelines, meeting deadlines.
- Keep abreast of developments in technology as it relates to administration and program supports including AI, Electronic Health Records, Billing, Human Resources software and home enabling supports.
- Provide leadership to Directors, Managers and Coordinators to ensure an efficient and successful system of care while supporting the agencies’ mission, values and vision.
- Develop talent and professional growth through training, mentorship and the development of career paths within the programs.
- Provide leadership that builds staff investment in EEDA’s vision and strategic intent.
- Provide leadership for the achievement of strategic business goals; implementation of new programs/strategies; and regulatory oversight.
- Develop, participate in and support community partnerships.
- Coordinate and provide support and oversight to clinical staff.
- Interface with the Board of Directors as required.

Education and/or Experience:
- Master’s degree
- More than ten years in progressively responsible leadership roles.
- Experience managing supports and services for individuals with Intellectual disabilities in OPWDD funded service environments required.
Executives are well-versed in performance and operations management and competent in assuming delegated duties. They are leaders and critical thinkers, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles.
EEDA provides a wide variety of services to children and adults. The Associate Executive Director will oversee Day Habilitation, Residential, ISS, Family Support, Self-Direction, Site Based Respite, Employment, Community Habilitation, Support Brokerage and others.
