Building Fire Hazard Investigator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to serve as our Building Fire Hazard Investigator. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating reported fire hazards, identifying root causes, and developing recommendations for corrective action.
- Conduct thorough investigations of reported fire hazards and identify root causes.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent future fire hazards.
- Collaborate with local authorities, emergency services, and other stakeholders to ensure effective fire safety practices.
- Maintain accurate records of investigations, findings, and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in fire safety inspection, code enforcement, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
