Summer Camp Art Director

East Goshen Townshp Parks and Recreation Summer Camp is in need of an Art Director. The summer camp is 5 weeks long, June 23 to July 29, Monday through Friday. Each week will have roughly 150 campers split into groups determined by grade/age. The Art Director will be responsible for leading morning and afternoon rotations based on the weeks schedule.

Responsibilities:

· Plan and implement art lessons for ages 5 to 13

· Create art lessons based on the weekly camp themes

· Organize and maintain all art supplies

· Help with other camp duties as needed

Candidate Requirements:

· One year experience working/volunteering with kids

· Working towards degree in the creative fields

· General knowledge of arts and crafts for youth populations

· Ability to attain and maintain all applicable federal and state BGCs and CPRFA

Preferred:

· Multiple years’ experience working/volunteering with kids

· Bachelor’s Degree / Teaching Certificate

· Experience teaching art in a school or camp environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
