Job Title: Kitchen Staff Member
About the Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic staff member to join our high-volume and fast-paced kitchen team. This position will follow ELPS Food Service policies and procedures, ensuring the preparation, serving, and distribution of food items and meals meet state and federal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
- Perform math calculations for recipe development and daily operations.
- Operate computerized cash register point of sale software as needed.
- Complete daily reports and documents accurately and on time.
- Ensure physical mobility and full understanding of sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
- ServSafe certification required within six months of hire.
- Pass a pre-employment physical examination by a designated physician before starting work.
- Obtain and pay for a fingerprint background check through SAFIS prior to employment.
