Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients in daily activities, including meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or social activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are reported promptly.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, adapting to the unique needs of each client.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's overall quality of life.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or social work is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with caregiving systems and practices related to ADLs is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic health monitoring tasks, including taking vital signs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A valid driver's license is preferred for transportation responsibilities.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment for clients is essential.

Qualifications
- Experience in long term care, home & community care, and personal care home settings
- Proficiency in caregiving tasks such as patient monitoring, care plans, and vital signs monitoring
- First aid certification and experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid driver's license for transportation needs
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices in a healthcare setting
- Good time management
- Own Personal Transportation.
- Must have a least a year experience in nursing home/home care setting.
- Must be flexible
- Must be a team player with a Great Attitude
- Must be willing to learn.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Must work well independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
