The Business Manager-Lion Hills will be responsible for all business aspects related to the East Mississippi Community College Lion Hills Center. This position will maintain positive work relationships with other personnel, students, community patrons, faculty and staff and may be responsible for overall supervision of the Center in the absence of the Director. In addition, the person in this position will take a leadership role in helping to continue the success of Lion Hills.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Understand Government Accounting and General Fixed Asset Accounting;2. Perform Auditing, Internal Auditing, Budget Preparation and Control;3. Responsible for daily bank transactions;4. Process Payroll, Sales Tax, Membership Billing and Inventory;5. Maintain membership database, cash/cash drawer reconciliations, and Point of Sale;6. Reconcile and post of Point to Sale system to Colleague system;7. Oversee compliance with State purchasing laws and purchasing.
