Key Accountabilities
- Billing and Rebilling: Oversee accurate and timely billing, including rebilling of accounts for late charges, denials, missing codes, and other required information.
- Collections: Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt and maximize revenue.
- Account Management: Manage resident fund accounts, reconcile accounts receivable balances, and review EOBs and ARs to ensure payments are posted correctly.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required; degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Office Manager or equivalent.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Medicare, third-party insurance, and Medicaid billing.
