Duties Include
- Promotes sales and service culture, sets sales goals and monitors performance. Utilizes creative promotions, rewards and training techniques.
- Provides supervision and management of staff and processes to ensure superior member satisfaction.
- Provides member service to support your staff. Meets with members as necessary to resolve problems or disputes related to loans, new accounts and other issues.
- Ensures all department staff members are trained and cross-trained on all elements of their respective jobs. Coaches staff and develops incentives.
- Works with Human Resources regarding in-house training sessions and ensures training needs meet with current needs/product/service roll outs.
- Reviews processes and procedures and makes recommendations to ensure efficient and effective operation of Member Service. Oversees front office processes including, but not limited to, account opening and closing, deposits, and consumer lending.
- Responsible for full compliance of the Member Services areas as dictated by federal regulations & state laws, including credit union operating and savings product policies and procedures, as well as all laws impacting savings account and demand deposit disclosures.
- Manages and supervises branch staff. Conducts performance evaluations. Participates in hiring and selection process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent education and experience
- Considerable experience in a financial institution or equivalent including sales and lending
- Full understanding of credit and savings products
- Experience in management and supervision with ability to coach exceptional service and cross-selling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
