Endodontic Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our team by providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a high standard of infection control.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and processing insurance claims.
• Support infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Experience

• Previous experience in dental assisting is required.
• Previous Endodontic experience preferred.
• Understanding of endodontics procedures is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
