Inventory Accounting Clerk
The Inventory Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the dealership's inventory in the accounting system.
This positions responsibilities include but not limited to:
Processes new vehicle DMV
Enters all new vehicle into the system
Processes dealer trade transactions
Enters purchased used cares into the system
Reconciles the physical inventory of vehicle in order to balance the books
Reconciles factory hold backs
Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the manufacturers
Runs reports as needed
Follows up with financial institutions to obtain titles and lien releases
The ideal candidate has two (2) years experience in a similar position. They can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment handling multiple projects and must have excellent communication, administrative, organizational, and computer skills.
They must be detail-oriented and good with numbers and proficient with accounting software and with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

- Processes trade payoffs and follow up on title status with lienholders
- Work with sales and finance to ensure required documentation
- Reconciles factor holdbacks
- Maintains reporting systems required by general management and lien releases
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Dealership and Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus
- Strong computer and internet skills
- One year of experience in a business office environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
- Highly professional and dependable
