The Football Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Head Football Coach with office operations, team personnel training and scheduling of the football program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all operations of the football office including operating budget, team travel, quality control, NCAA compliance and recruiting related matters. Trains, supervises and mentors team managers, interns and other team personnel as assigned by head football coach Serves as liaison with various administrative units and functions for Intercollegiate Athletics division including academics, compliance, sports medicine, sports performance, and business. Work with appropriate external relations, alumni and fundraising efforts as guided by head coach. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA and the Southland Conference Other duties as assigned by Head Coach or Athletic Director.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Two (2) years of combined experience in collegiate football operations, collegiate coaching, or athletic department administration experience required. Evening and weekend work necessary. Student experience will be considered as half-time.
