SUMMARY:
The Football Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Head Football Coach with office operations, team personnel training and scheduling of the football program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages all operations of the football office including operating budget, team travel, quality control, NCAA compliance and recruiting related matters.
- Trains, supervises and mentors team managers, interns and other team personnel as assigned by head football coach
- Serves as liaison with various administrative units and functions for Intercollegiate Athletics division including academics, compliance, sports medicine, sports performance, and business.
- Work with appropriate external relations, alumni and fundraising efforts as guided by head coach.
- Must abide by the rules of the NCAA and the Southland Conference
- Other duties as assigned by Head Coach or Athletic Director.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Two (2) years of combined experience in collegiate football operations, collegiate coaching, or athletic department administration experience required. Evening and weekend work necessary. Student experience will be considered as half-time.
- Ability to: Multi-task and work well as part of a team.

DESIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Division I administrative experience preferred. Experience in Concur, Workday, and TeamWorks. Experience in video coordinating.
