Student Success Specialist – Early Intervention
DESCRIPTION: East Texas Baptist University invites applications for a full-time, career track position as Reference & User Services Librarian. The position begins Fall 2023 and will include reference and library instruction. The successful candidate will be required to teach library instruction specialist is responsible for coordinating and running the processes for early intervention efforts and for meeting with students for academic coaching and advising.

- Experience in an academic setting, preferably with experience in student success, advising, or student support services
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Planning and overseeing the processes for early intervention with students, including contacts with students who have been reported as not-returning for the next semester.
- Assisting the Director of Academic Success to identify at-risk students and implement intervention efforts.
- Supporting academic advising efforts for students who are undecided on their major.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
