Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented RN Infection Prevention and Quality Assurance Analyst to join our healthcare team. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare practices, particularly in critical care and infectious disease management. The Infection Prevention and Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with various departments to assess processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective quality assurance measures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits and evaluations of clinical practices to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and leadership to develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
- Analyze data related to patient care outcomes, identifying trends and areas needing attention.
- Provide training and support on quality assurance protocols, including aseptic techniques and HIPAA compliance.
- Review medical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to MDS guidelines.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss quality metrics and strategies for improvement.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to quality assurance within the ASC setting.
Experience
- Proven experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in acute care or critical care settings.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, infectious disease care, and healthcare operations.
- Familiarity with MDS documentation processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence change effectively within teams.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for evaluating processes and outcomes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
