Position Summary:
The Director of Spa is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the spa operations at Viceroy Snowmass. This role encompasses leadership, financial management, service delivery, team development, and ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for wellness, a strong business acumen, and a proven track record of success in a luxury spa environment.
Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:
- Provide visionary leadership and direction to the spa team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate spa staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance goals.
- Develop and implement spa policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Oversee daily spa operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and facility maintenance.

Guest Experience and Service Delivery:
- Maintain a deep understanding of guest needs and preferences to create personalized and memorable spa experiences.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality treatments and services that exceed guest expectations.
- Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance spa offerings to stay ahead of industry trends and meet evolving guest demands.

Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the spa budget, including revenue projections, expense control, and profitability analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to optimize revenue and efficiency.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies and promotional programs to drive spa revenue.
- Manage inventory and procurement of spa products and supplies.

Strategic Planning and Development:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the spa's market position and achieve business objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new spa treatments, products, and technologies to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate spa services into the overall resort experience.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to spa operations and guest treatments.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.

Schedule: Flexible schedule, some nights, weekends and holidays required
Pay Rate: 90k-110k incentive plan

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in spa management, with a proven track record of success in a luxury environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent financial management and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, products, and industry trends.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Certification in spa management or related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of common spa software.
- A passion for wellness and hospitality.
- Ability to work in Snowmass Colorado.
