Job Summary

*Nanny/Household Management Role*

Pittsburgh, PA | Wexford/North Park

• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: ideally Tuesday through Thursday, either 12 - 8 pm or 2 - 8 pm; flexible to those who wish to work any two days of the week instead with similar hours; guaranteed between 12 to 24 hours/week; occasional date nights appreciated
• Hourly Rate: $25-32
• Children: 9, 6 & 21 months old
• Paid Vacation: One week paid of the family’s choice, one week paid of the nanny’s choice, 1-2 sick or personal days, 2-3 paid holidays

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Pop, click, snap! Yes, nanny, those ARE the unmistakable sounds of Legos, and you’ll play with them plenty in a long-term role that lets you choose your own afternoon hours. This family of five is looking for a patient and fun mother’s helper who’s unintimidated about caring for three a young ladies. This type of scheduling flexibility is rarely offered as you’ll get a strong say in the days, times, and amount that you’ll work. Pick between 12-24 hours per week with coverage for at least a couple of late afternoons, and some occasional date nights. This busy stay-at-home mom wants relief on various fronts and really needs a clone of herself, especially since Dad travels frequently. Primarily, you’ll help care for the 21-month-old “baby” of the family. Definitely a momma’s girl, the sweet little lady always has a marker in her hand, ready to color in her latest masterpiece. Her two big sisters—ages six and nine—come home from school in the afternoons. The young engineers love crafts and constructing with Legos, so you’ll spend lots of time sitting with them on the floor building things. But don’t get too comfy because when the right song comes on, you’ll suddenly spring up for an impromptu dance party! When the kids are enjoying quiet reading time, you’ll assist with household management, including help with laundry, vacuuming, sweeping, and dinner prep. (Food dyes and junk food are restricted.) There are no pets—in fact, one of the girls is allergic to cats, dogs, and has seasonal allergies (but if you’re a pet-owning, pet-hair-conscious nanny, please still apply!). You do need to know how to swim and drive as you might support the kids with both of those things as trust builds. The grandparents are also actively involved and there’s a cleaning crew that regularly comes in for the deeper stuff, meaning you’ll be a critical part of a cohesive team. Requirements and Benefits
