The Eastchester School District is seeking a qualified experienced educator, with an expertise in Childhood Education, to fill the probationary vacancy of Elementary Education Teacher, Grade 2, in the Greenvale School. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated elementary teacher to join our dynamic team. A successful candidate can:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson that align with curriculum standards and promote literacy skills development
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports differentiated learning needs and encourages student participation
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
• Integrate technology and diverse resources to enhance learning experiences
  
  

Requirements:

• NYS certification: Elementary Childhood Education
• NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*
  
  

Employment Terms:

• 10 month, full time probationary position
• Salary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule; $62,620 - $86,668, step placement contingent upon prior related experience. Internal transfers will maintain their step and salary placement.
• Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law
• 305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES). The Commissioner of Education carries out these responsibilities through the New York State Education Department's Office of School Personnel Review and Accountability (OSPRA).
