What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Student Support Specialist I (7 Positions) position at EASTCONN Educational & Vocational Center (EVC)?
EASTCONN is recruiting for Student Support Specialist I for the anticipated 2025 Extended School Year Program held at the Educational and Vocational Center (EVC) in Columbia, CT from July 1st - July 31st, Monday - Thursday. (19 days; 4 days/week; 6 hrs/day)
Required Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: At least one year of paid or unpaid volunteer experience working with children in an organized setting.
Or: Combination of education and experience that is a substantial equivalent to the above education and experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Physical Management Techniques (PMT) certification.
2. Certification in First Aid and CPR.
