SEEKING A PART TIME Accounts Payable Professional Monday - Wednesday- FOR EASTER SEALS!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Track, review, prepare and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the purchase orders and invoices for payment.
- Process check run weekly and pay vendors via e-payable virtual card.
- Research in a timely manner past due bills and statements.
- Scan new invoices receive and save in the accounting folder share point.
- Process credit card transactions every other week and review all credit card transactions in smart data.
- Set up new credit card holder in Smart data and update information if necessary.
- Send a reminder email to all credit card holders to upload their receipts in smart data system.
- Review monthly vendor list and request missing invoices from the vendor no later the 5th of the month for the prior month invoices.
- Reconcile virtual payment in Intacct weekly.
- Print and ensure the accuracy timeliness of the A/P register, check register, and A/P aging reports.
- Collect information and assist Staff Accountant with 1099 forms.
- Review categories of costs as needed.
- Review and update payables procedures.
- Provide confidentiality for accounts payable records.
- Issue consumer checks to Supervisors as requested. P
- Perform other duties as assigned.
General Ledger Accounting:
- Assist with general and equipment ledger entries. This includes doing the research for reconciliations as needed.
- Assist in preparing accounting worksheets as needed.
- Assist with the annual audit as directed.
Fixed Asset Accounting:
- Updates Depreciation, Fixed Assets, and Uncapitalized inventory schedules for all centers.
- Oversees Fixed Asset Inventory.
- Responsible for Fixed Asset software program.
General Office Support:
Accept payments for Account Receivable when necessary.
- Perform courier responsibilities by transporting various forms of documentation and mail.
- Comply with privacy laws and requirements under HIPAA regulations and understand the consequences of non- compliance.
- Follow all safety procedures as outlined by the Injury, Illness and Prevention Program (IIPP) Safety Manual and understand the consequences of non-compliance.
Personal Interaction:
- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with staff, volunteers, clients, and the public.
- Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.
- Attend center staff meeting and department staff meetings as directed.
- Attend staff in-services as directed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
