College and Area Information:

Eastern Arizona College’s District Offices are located in Thatcher, Arizona, a beautiful rural area with easy access to arid
as well as mountainous recreation. The College is located approximately 125 miles northeast of Tucson and 165 miles
southeast of Phoenix. EAC is a comprehensive community college offering five associate degrees across nearly 50
programs of study. Eastern Arizona College is the oldest member of the Arizona Community College system and is fully
accredited by The Higher Learning Commission.

Position Summary and Organizational Relationship:
Game Help Workers report to the Assistant Supervisor I and will work in different capacities at the College athletic events.
These are part-time positions and generally consist of no more than 19.5 hours per week as scheduled by the supervisor.
This applicant pool will remain online as an open position to hire interested candidates as the need arises. Positions are
non-classified and paid at $22.50 per hour with 2 hours guaranteed, unless otherwise indicated below.

Required Qualifications:
Required qualifications to effectively perform job. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be
considered.

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED, preferred.
• Previous experience assisting with Athletics and game help or knowledge of the sport, preferred.

Essential Functions:
Assist with different areas within the department with various aspects of game-day operations, to include, but not limited
to:

• Concessions $14.70 per hour (minimum wage)
• Ball Boy/Girl (Retriever) $14.70 per hour (minimum wage)
• Line judge $65 per game
• Wings
• Live Stream Coordinator $35 per hour
• Announcer
• Scorebook
• Shot Clock
• Stats
• Accepts job assignments, as determined at the beginning of each shift.
• Ensures a top-tier game-day experience.
• Assists with game setup and breakdown.
• Adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the College and the Athletics Department.
• Regular attendance for scheduled game shifts is a necessary and essential function.
• Be available, Monday through Friday, anytime between 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM or depending on game time; Hours

• Regularly required to talk and hear; frequently required to sit, stand and bend at the knee and waist, and walk.
• Must have hand-eye coordination.

• Occasionally required to lift or move items of over 25 pounds.

Working Environment:
Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

Shooter Canyon Road, Globe, AZ (Gila Pueblo Campus); and Payson Campus Administration Office, located at 201 N. Mud Springs Rd., Payson, AZ (Payson Campus).
A fire log containing all reported fires that occurred at any of EAC's on-campus student housing facilities is available during normal business hours at the Housing Office,
located at 900 N. College Avenue, Thatcher, AZ.
