Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral and Emergency Hospital is rapidly progressing to be the premier animal referral and trauma center for the North Carolina coastal region. Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral, is an Emergency and Specialty hospital where we are open 24 hours/7 days a week for Emergency Veterinary Services and we are a referral practice offering Surgery, Orthopedics, and Animal Rehabilitation. We have CT scanning capabilities to complement our digital Xray and ultrasound services along with full in house labs.
We are looking to hire experienced Veterinary Receptionists to work on our day, evening and night shifts. Weekend rotation is required. Shift differential ($2.00 per hour) is available when working past midnight.
Veterinary experience required, with previous work in emergency and/or specialty practices preferred.
The individual(s) must excel at multitasking and working cooperatively with others. Must be able to function in a professional manner in a fast paced, often stressful environment, while prioritizing responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. Must be honest, reliable, flexible, independent, and have the proven ability to work in a fast paced-team environment while providing exceptional client communication and maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Function effectively as part of a team as well as independently. The ability to work nights, weekends and holidays are a requirement of the job and reliability is a must.
