Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong background in the international drayage/logistics industry. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing complex transportation operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of containers. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, have the ability to problem solve, multi-task, and be a great team player. Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their specific needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure client satisfaction, standard SOPs are being followed
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the timely and efficient movement of containers in and out of the ports
- Ensuring drivers are tracked for on-time delivery
- Provide excellent customer service through phone call and email communications with clients and operations teams
- Detailed forecasting of shipments from vessel arrival at the port to complement of shipment
- Ensuring client's portals with EDI/API are updated constantly
- Tracking and tracing container shipments via terminal portal
- General office and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics/trucking, with a focus on container drayage and port operations
- Strong understanding of port operations, terminal procedures, and transportation logistics
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
