We have an excellent product as well as a reputation for providing top-notch drayage service across all of the US ports and rail yards.
Our company currently seeks a talented, highly motivated Safety Manager to join our team. Candidates must be well-versed in this industry and possess a vast knowledge of all DOT rules with a follow-through attitude on all pending projects.
The Safety Manager will have primary responsibility for providing and managing procedures for compliance with DOT and FMCSA.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all drivers and site personnel maintain compliance with federal regulations
- Oversee and review daily ELD reports and pinpoint improper reporting
- Collect documentation from drivers, including truck information and driver information but not limited to truck registration, logs, medical card monthly maintenance
- Maintain driver qualification files and keep driver qualification files up to date
- performs continuous auditing and inspections to driver qualification files for driver safety success.
- Reviews Roadside inspections, and DOT recordable accidents within the FMCSA platform, request accident reports
- Maintains DOT Accident Register for the fleet and ensures applicable post-accident DOT drug/alcohol testing is completed, as required per FMCSA, within the allotted time frame
- High proficiency level with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet - daily use of advanced functions required
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of ELDs & daily logs plus maintaining compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- 3 drayage transportation and safety management experience is required
- 2 years of experience in the import and export industry required
- 2 year of fleet management experience is required

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
