BHE GT&S has an exciting opportunity as a Financial Analyst/Financial Analyst 2/Senior Financial Analyst at our headquarters in Glen Allen, VA.
- Supports annual budget development and consolidation process.
- Supports the development and maintenance of the company's consolidated forecast.
- Develops and leads financial analysis.
- Works with senior management to develop and monitor corporate strategy.
- Provides analysis, presentation, and preparation in support of investment decisions going before Investment Review Committee.
- Reviews, updates, and communicates cost of capital utilized for business investment decisions.
Financial Analyst 1 :
3 years of related experience
Financial Analyst 2 :
5 years of related experience
Senior Financial Analyst :
7 years of related experience
- Knowledge in financial management and analysis, utility and/or relevant industry, and accounting standards and practices.
Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
Teamwork, analytical, and customer focus skills.
Ability to work under limited supervision and direction.
Demonstrated expertise in consolidated financial planning and analysis, capital allocation, project financial analysis, M&A analysis, and due diligence process.- Understanding of accounting, tax, and financing principles.
Extensive knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint.
Aptitude for continuous learning.
Education
Bachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
