What You'll do on the Job :

Responsibility for the direct management of the Mobile, AL Warehouse and Distribution Center.
Directs and coaches branch associates and drives business results with the goal of increasing overall internal / external customer satisfaction and branch Return on Sales.
Provides operations and logistics support within the branch and for market growth and expansion opportunities.
Oversees Inside Sales regarding all quotes and orders, making sure they are fulfilled promptly.
Maintaining positive relationships with all customers, vendors and manufacturer representatives.
Providing exceptional customer servic e as you keep track of order statuses and customer requirements.
Ensuring close collaboration and communication with company resources including procurement, accounting, outside sales and product specialists.

What We Need From You :

Education and / or Experience : Prefer Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year university strongly preferred, and 3 years in the distribution industry , preferably in operations management. Strong preference for experience within the (PVF) Pipe, Valves, Fittings industry .

Computer Skills : Individuals should be adept with computers and ideally have Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience and / or CRM experience. Solar Eclipse experience is heavily preferred.

Location : You should live within a reasonable distance from the branch location . Training for this job is in person, and the ideal candidate will work in the office. Remote flexibility is possible, but not preferred.
