Tree Work Laborer
Immediate need for a tree work laborer. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience with tasks like cutting, pruning, removing and chipping tree limbs. Clearing debris from work sites, operating ground-based equipment like chippers and brush cutters. Must have the ability to multitask and operate machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Job Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
- Pruning
- Cabling and bracing
- Rigging
- Debris Removals
- Salvaging
- Assisting climbers, securing ropes, lowering limbs, providing support on site.
- Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
- Maintaining a clean work area by removing debris and properly disposing of any waste.
- Must be able to read and comprehend all project specifications, plans and drawings.
- Must have a complete understanding of Union Projects.
- Ensuring that all tree care work is performed strictly in accordance with industry and company standards.
- Complete knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to wearing PPE daily.
- Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.
- Must have OSHA 40
- Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must pass a background and/or MVR check.
