This individual will be responsible for managing the daily work of Field Service Managers and other team members in the Service Department.

This individual will be responsible for managing the daily work of Field Service Managers and other team members in the Service Department.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hires, trains, oversees, Technicians
- Guides, advises and mentors Technicians
- Conducts performance evaluations that are both timely and constructive
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed in accordance with company policy
- Manages the daily work of Field Service Technicians
- Manages the Work In Process (WIP)
- Help to answer phones, help customers with technical questions
- Schedule and assist Field Service Technicians daily
- Assists Field Service Technicians on difficult jobs and when they need additional help
- Communicates effectively to customers on repair work as needed
- Works with other managers, sales representative and other staff to establish labor costs
- Assists, coaches, mentors, supports other service members and staff as needed
- Performs other related duties as required
- Thorough understanding of industry services, customers, procedures, and policies
- Material Handling Industry experience strongly preferred
- Ability to motivate, mentor and coach service staff and managers
- Basic knowledge of all technical aspects of forklifts, heavy equipment and other related Material Handling Equipment
- Strong organizational skills
