About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Fleet and Facilities Director and play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet and facilities.
Main Duties
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure fleet and facilities run safely and efficiently.
- Manage the team to ensure compliance with regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other relevant regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment, as well as adequate insurance coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience working with the mechanical and electrical system for commercial and non-commercial trucks, trailers, and other common equipment.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in Facilities Management or maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of fleet management and operations.
