Eastern Metal Supply is looking for an experienced Outside B2B sales representative to join our team! The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients, and a strong understanding of our products and services. You will be responsible for driving new business, managing existing business, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:
- Be a road warrior - travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, identifying sales opportunities and soliciting potential customers
- Manage existing accounts to increase share
- New product introduction
- Effectively communicate EMS’ distinct proficiencies
- Margin improvement initiatives
- Suggestions for adding new inventory items
- Prepare and present pricing and proposals to customers
- Maintaining computer records as to customers volume, usage, and competitive feedback
- Effective time and territory management for traveling
Qualifications:
- Four year college degree is preferred
- Prior outside sales experience is required
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize duties: Detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong math skills are required
