We’re looking for an ambitious Outside Sales Representative in the Tampa Bay Area—someone who’s ready to build relationships, close deals, and get hands-on by delivering and demoing turf equipment, utility vehicles, and compact equipment. If you enjoy hitting the road, meeting decision-makers, and providing real solutions to industries that depend on top-tier equipment, this role is for you!
Who Are Our Customers?
- Golf Courses & Country Clubs – These customers require precision turf equipment to maintain championship-level fairways and greens.
- Sports Turf Facilities – Stadiums, athletic fields, and training complexes rely on specialized turf solutions.
- Municipalities & Parks Departments – Cities and government agencies need rugged utility vehicles and compact Bobcat equipment to maintain public spaces.
- Commercial & Industrial Facilities – Resorts, universities, and large corporate campuses depend on utility vehicles for transportation and upkeep.
- Contractors & Construction Professionals – Bobcat compact equipment (including skid steers and loaders) is an essential part of any contractor’s fleet.
Your role is about getting out in the field, building relationships, and putting the right equipment in the hands of the right customers to keep their operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver & Demo Equipment – Confidently pull a trailer to transport and showcase Jacobsen turf equipment, Cushman utility vehicles, and Bobcat compact equipment to customers.
- Prospect & Build Relationships – Identify new business opportunities through visits, phone calls, and emails.
- Educate & Advise – Help customers understand the benefits of high-performance turf, utility, and compact equipment for their specific needs.
- Close Deals & Drive Sales – Convert leads into long-term customers through strategic, consultative selling.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends – Keep up with new product innovations, competitor activity, and market trends.
- Collaborate with the Team – Work closely with service, parts, and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Sales experience - preferably in equipment, turf, landscaping, municipal, or construction industries.
- A self-starter with a passion for building relationships and closing deals.
- Experience pulling a trailer (or willingness to learn)—you’ll be delivering and demoing equipment in the field.
- Someone who’s comfortable making cold calls, knocking on doors, and networking.
- A strong communicator with negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record—you’ll be on the road regularly.
