Overview:
The Housing Navigator role is a unique opportunity to provide concentrated housing stability coordination to individuals living with HIV, mental health disabilities, and substance use in rural eastern Oregon. As a housing navigator, you will work closely with the client, the client’s care coordinator, and other support team members, including, but not limited to, the behavioral health specialist, registered nurse, and OHOP coordinator, to implement an Individualized Services and Support Plan (ISSP).
Qualifications:
*High school diploma or equivalent.
*Lived experience or one year of experience working with marginalized, under-served populations.
*Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
*Knowledge of culturally relevant interventions for Spanish-speaking high-risk populations.
*Knowledge of local and statewide treatment and social service providers.
*Knowledge of the unique issues affecting high-risk communities and willingness to learn about culturally relevant interventions for gay and bisexual men, individuals who inject drugs, and individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
*Valid Driver’s License or access to self-arranged transportation for outreach, meetings, and events.
*Must be able to pass a criminal history background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $23.50 per hour
