Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations within the office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, ensuring proper phone etiquette and directing calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized office files and records, ensuring easy access to information.
  • Schedule appointments and manage schedules to help the office run smoothly
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Support office management by ordering supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a personal assistant, clerk, or in an administrative role.
  • Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience as an optometry or medical receptionist is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in office management practices and procedures.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy with familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
