Job Summary
Eastern Oregon University is seeking part-time adjunct education supervisors to support the Teacher Preparation program in the Washington, Oregon, and Idaho areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise student teachers during their practical clinical work in school settings.
- Provide written and electronic evaluations of student teachers' performance.
- Counsel and mentor student teachers, visiting them in their clinical experience sites and observing their performance.
- Participate in the Clinical training program during the first year of employment.
Requirements
- Education degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
- Knowledge of and experience in K-12 education.
- Valid work authorization documents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge of or experience with the co-teaching model.
- Ability to observe for 'best practices' in K-12 classrooms.
