Education Supervisor

Job Summary

Eastern Oregon University is seeking part-time adjunct education supervisors to support the Teacher Preparation program in the Washington, Oregon, and Idaho areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise student teachers during their practical clinical work in school settings.
• Provide written and electronic evaluations of student teachers' performance.
• Counsel and mentor student teachers, visiting them in their clinical experience sites and observing their performance.
• Participate in the Clinical training program during the first year of employment.

Requirements

• Education degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Knowledge of and experience in K-12 education.
• Valid work authorization documents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of or experience with the co-teaching model.
• Ability to observe for 'best practices' in K-12 classrooms.
