We are looking for a Fleet & Warehouse Manager to join our Orlando Division team.

The ideal candidate must meet most of the following qualifications:

Leadership & Management:

• Proven ability to lead, delegate, and manage teams.
• Strong conflict resolution, decision-making, and performance management skills.

Industry Knowledge:

• Expertise in logistics, fleet operations, and warehouse management.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
• Proficient in using fleet/warehouse management software (e.g., TMS, WMS).

Experience & Qualifications:

• Significant experience (5-10 years) in fleet or warehouse management.
• A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CDL, OSHA, Lean, Six Sigma).

Technical & Analytical Skills:

• Strong ability to analyze data, optimize routes, and improve processes.
• Experience with predictive analytics and continuous improvement methodologies.

Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking:

• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues quickly.
• Focused on improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

• Strong communication with teams, vendors, and management.
• Effective training and development of employees.

Attention to Detail:

• Ensuring safety, compliance, and accuracy in operations and reporting.
• Maintaining inventory and asset management.

Adaptability & Safety:

• Flexibility to manage across different shifts or unexpected challenges.
• Strong focus on safety, risk management, and legal compliance.

• Spanish & English; Portuguese is a Plus
• Authorization to work in the USA
• Pass DOT Medical Exam and Drug Screening
• Ability to lift boxes up to 90 lbs

This position will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Fleet Maintenance:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all vehicles in the fleet.
• Monitor, schedule, and coordinate repairs and services, including estimate approval, purchase orders, repair updates, and warranty work ensuring vehicles are compliant with safety standards.
• Manage relationshIps with maintenance vendors and negotiate service contracts.

Vehicle Utilization and Route Optimization:

• Optimize the use of vehicles and routes to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Utilize route optimization software to plan and optimize delivery routes, minimizing fuel consumption and travel time
• Monitor and analyze route data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Budget Management:

• Develop, manage, and report the fleet budget, including expenses for maintenance, repairs, fuel (gas card account), and route optimizatIon tools.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve budgetary goals.
• Prepare and present reporting and recommendations at the end of each period (Month/Quarter/Year)

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure that all vehicles comply with local, state, and federal regulations. – Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures for drivers and vehicles.
• Verify, validate, and monitor all personnel (driver’s license, medical exams, and drug tests)
• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
• Work directly with headquarters on all compliance and safety

Vehicle Acquisition and Disposal:

• Develop and administer vehicle/equipment asset management processes from procurement to disposition.
• Plan and recommend acquiring new vehicles based on the company's needs and budget.
• Coordinate the disposal of older vehicles through sales or trade-ins.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Generate and analyze reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, fuel consumption, and route efficiency.
• Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improvements.

Risk Management:

• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate accidents and reduce insurance costs.
• Investigate and address any incidents involving company vehicles.

Team Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of fleet maintenance personnel and drivers.
• Provide training and support to ensure high levels of performance and compliance.
• Despite having a supervisory position, the Fleet Manager also has operational responsibility and is considered part of the Drivers’ team and is expected to support the drivers and perform deliveries as needed.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of warehouse staff
• Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and visIon
• Oversee the maintenance of all areas of the warehouse, including routine inspection and maintenance of all equipment.
• Manage all inbound shipments (receiving), outbound (sales orders), invoicing, and inventory control for the local Orlando distribution business.
• Oversee/Inspect receipt of goods, following internal procedures to ensure the quality of the products being received. Always ensure inventory is organized and prioritized by FIFO (First in, First Out).
• Develop/Set up/Maintain a warehouse layout to maximize space utilization, safety, and efficiency in the warehouse.
• Safely and accurately pick materials and load trucks.
• Conduct physical counts and inventories on a daily/weekly basis. Reconcile to maintain adequate inventory levels on both frozen and fresh products.
• Inspect/report concerns related to: a. product expiration dates, b. low/high inventory levels, c. quality issues
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping the floor, racks, pallet area, workstations, and shipping supply area neat and clean.
• Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Manage and maintain inventory of warehouse equipment and supplies.
• Prepare and present reporting and recommendations at the end of each period (Month/Quarter/Year)
• Train and equip staff to develop direct rapport and long-term relationships with the landlord (Cold Link), suppliers, and customers.
• Perform other related tasks as required

Compensation (annual salary) is very competitive and commensurate with candidate's experience.
