Eastern Quality Foods has an opportunity available for a Sales and Procurement Specialist/Manager reporting to the Director of Operations of our Atlanta Seafood Division.
Eastern’s Atlanta Seafood Importing Division specializes in the sale of frozen seafood to foodservice distributors throughout the mid-Atlantic and southeastern United States. We are looking for a Seafood Sales Specialist for a well-capitalized environment to leverage his or her existing book of business and develop new opportunities. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of seafood sourcing and market trends, along with strong industry relationships to drive sales growth. We prefer to fill this position in Atlanta, GA.

Position Overview
· Leverage existing relationships to generate immediate sales.
· Manage existing accounts with an emphasis on building strong client relationships.
· Develop new business opportunities in food service and wholesale distribution sectors. Including expansion into other geographic markets and retail.
· Work with distributor sales staff and/or attend distributor sales meetings as necessary.
· Provide Company representation at select customer food shows.
· Gather and report market information to customer relationships and the internal sales team.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in seafood sales is preferred
· Knowledge of seafood products and pricing.
· Negotiation and communication skills
· Proactive, growth-oriented mindset
· Willingness to travel
