Functions
- Maintain Ethics that Represent Eastern Shipbuilding
- Assist craft leadership in managing the schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and blueprints
- Monitor and Track Enabling Events
- Perform work in accordance with ESG's ISO standards
- Ensure daily production requirements are met
- Coordinate production workflow for multiple projects
[Additional LOTO Responsibilities]
- Develop, implement, and maintain LOTO procedures for all equipment and machinery
- Conduct and document periodic inspections of LOTO procedures and practices
- Provide comprehensive LOTO training to employees and maintain training records
- Manage LOTO hardware inventory and documentation system
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 1910.147 and other applicable safety standards
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for safe equipment isolation
- Review and approve LOTO permits before work begins
- Conduct risk assessments for new equipment or modified processes
- Investigate and document any LOTO-related incidents or near-misses
- Maintain updated equipment-specific LOTO procedures
- Perform regular audits of LOTO program effectiveness

Reporting Relationship
This position will report to the Vice President of Operations / Yard manager or equivalent
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent, plus one to three years' experience in Administration, Management, Construction, or Engineering. Five or more years' experience in a Production Lead, Planner or Project Manager position. Desired Certified in LOTO procedures and safety protocols. OSHA safety training certification preferred
Required:
- Intermediate level Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
- Ability to rapidly obtain, sort, filter, and analyze large volumes of data
- Experience in shipbuilding and production processes
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA LOTO standards and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

- Ability to access various areas of the shipyard & vessel
