Position Overview :
The Director of Residential Services will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, leading care staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a strong leader with a background in assisted living, skilled nursing, or senior care, who is committed to excellence and innovation in resident care.
Duties :
- Oversee and manage all clinical operations to ensure high-quality care.
- Supervise, mentor, and support care staff to foster a collaborative and professional work environment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents based on their specific needs and preferences in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Monitor and assess resident health, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Lead quality assurance and improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance care standards.
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Act as a liaison between families, residents, and staff, ensuring open and effective communication.
- Ensure that all resident rights are respected and upheld within the facility.
- Assist in budgeting for care supplies and resources as needed.
- Provide ongoing education and training to ensure clinical staff remain up to date on best practices.
