Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including outpatient facilities, assisted living environments, and home community care. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive appropriate medical attention and support.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Conduct physical examinations and assess patients’ health status.
- Perform triage to prioritize patient care based on medical needs.
- Provide catheter care and assist with other personal hygiene tasks.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using medical terminology.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Assist in medical-surgical procedures as needed, ensuring a safe environment for patients.
- Support pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) operations when required.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential.
- Experience in outpatient settings or assisted living facilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with home community care practices is a plus.
- Previous experience in triage or providing medical-surgical nursing care is advantageous.
