Log in or register to view more details about this job.About this opportunity : NonStop Local KHQ, the Inland Northwest's Local News Leader has an immediate opening for an Executive Producer to help lead the charge for our 6 hours of morning news. Each morning, we produce multiple newscasts for multiple states! You'll help utilize our team of reporters, producers, and anchors to deliver daily fresh, and unique content throughout the region. This position is for a go-getter who understands strong, creative production, isn't afraid of breaking news, and loves the challenge of 'live' TV. If you have the skills, the passion, and the ability to make quick decisions, multi-task, get social / digital, and work effectively under pressure, we want to hear from you!What you'll do : Producing as scheduledWriting and editing news copyMeeting deadlines and working well under pressurePossessing good news judgmentMaintaining a positive can-do attitude and being a team playerPosting to our various websites and social media platformsUsing non-linear editing systems, if neededWhat you'll contribute to our team : You should have a degree in broadcast journalism or a related field, previous line-producing experience is a plus, strong writing and communications skills, be able to work with little direction, must be dependable and reliable, and may be called for other special events such as elections, fires, floods and / or other major events.What we offer : We are a family-owned and operated multi-business organization with a heart for the community we serve and our employees!
