Job Summary : Eastern Washington University is on the lookout for a dynamic and creative Digital Content Strategist to join our Department of Marketing and Communications. As a Digital Content Strategist, you will bring an audience-first approach to planning and overseeing the content strategy, requirements, and deliverables that support EWU's brand across web, social media, and other digital platforms. This role will be pivotal in :

• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive content strategy for the EWU brand.
• Creating targeted and differentiated user-centric narratives and content journeys, including compelling calls-to-action.
• Maximizing the impact of content through analysis, writing / editing, usability, and project management. Key Responsibilities :
• Create, edit, and optimize web content that aligns with EWU's brand, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.
• Conduct UX audits and use data-driven insights to improve navigation, user engagement, and site performance.
• Develop and maintain a strategic content map to ensure consistency, enhance discoverability, and boost SEO across 1,000 webpages.
• Collaborate with campus partners to provide training, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high-quality content using WordPress.
• Support email marketing and storytelling efforts by developing cohesive, audience-focused campaigns aligned with institutional goals. What We're Looking For :
