REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering plus one or more years’ DoD/DHS shipbuilding project experience desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Working knowledge of control systems, C4ISR systems, arrangement and cable routing. Experienced with Power Load Analysis, Voltage Drop Calculations, and Power/Lighting system One Line diagram development required. Experience with CDRL Development desired. Experience with ABS NVR highly desired.
Skills: Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience required. Strong working experience with AutoCAD required. Ability to produce and analyze calculations using the Easy Power software package. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, display an attention for detail, and function as a team player.
