Functions
Provides critical data support to ILS the teams. ILS Research and analysis functions may include Provisioning, Technical Manual and ILS Status tracking, Compliance Comment evaluation, and monitoring.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Because Eastern Shipbuilding is continually growing to meet the needs of our customers, the essential duties and responsibilities may be different than described.
- Regular attendance at work and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Responsible for supporting all ILS contract deliverables including but not limited to: RCM Analysis, Failure Reporting and Corrective Action Reports, Design Change Notices, Engineering Data for Provisioning, Ship or Cutter information Book (SIB/CIB), Damage Control Technical Data and Commercial Equipment Manuals, Drawings, and other technical data.
- Provide parts and material-technical specifications reports to the ILS Manager for the status of OPC purchases.
- Review technical specifications developed by engineering for incorporation into requisitions and quotes.
- Assist in drafting ILS technical packages for USCG reviews.
- Work on a collaborative Integrated Data Environment (IDE) and manage the configuration of the ship’s baseline.
- Ensure ILS product deliverables comply with the contract.
- Interface with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)/Suppliers/Subcontractors to obtain Vendor Furnished Information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Reporting Relationship
This position will report to the ILS Supervisor.
