Essential Functions and Scope of Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Accountant, is responsible for financial receivable and disbursable, making all financial records available for annual audit.
Job Duties:
Assist with maintaining and analyzing general and subsidiary ledgers
Journal entry preparation and posting
Assist in reconciling and maintaining bank accounts
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
Assist with payroll processing
Audits, internal & external
Employment verifications
Provide special information/reports for the Executive Director as requested
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports
Assist in producing and filing program reports, i.e. grant reports, etc.
Assist in monthly budget analysis
Assist in preparation of annual budget to include program allocation
Filing as necessary
Other duties as assigned
This position is part time hourly
Qualifications and/or Experiences:
Bookkeeper with 5 years experience
QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel proficient
Ability to deal with the public
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
