Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore is seeking a Coordinator to be a part of our Personal Attendant Services Program. The Personal Attendant Services Program empowers individuals with disabilities to hire and manage their own caregivers with support from Easterseals staff. Qualifications:

• Exhibit good organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent customer service and experience with individuals with disabilities
• Able to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Knowledge in writing casenotes

Job Duties:

• Enrolling, monitoring, and assisting program participants and their attendants.
• Support participants in recruiting and hiring their own attendants.
• Train the participant and attendant on the Electronic Visit Verification system.
• Assist participants with their attendant’s payroll issues and/or discrepancies.
• Meet with participant and attendant quarterly, annually, and as needed regarding program services and processes.
• Collaborate with Managed Care Organizations regarding participant services and support.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with disabled and/or aging population
• Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years’ experience
• Bilingual ability in Spanish or other languages is a plus.

This is a full-time, 40-hour a week position Monday- Friday 8am-4pm. There is county-wide and some statewide travel associated with this position. Must have reliable transportation.
